Inter Kashi came close to a win in its first match in the Indian Super League but ended up sharing the points with FC Goa in a 1-1 draw at the PJN Stadium in Fatorda on Saturday.
Prasanth Karuthadathkuni opened the scoring, finding the net late in the first half with a beautifully chipped effort off Goa keeper Hrithik Tiwari.

However, it is Inter Kashi keeper Luis Tarres who will be in the news after being awarded a penalty in the 80th minute after bringing down Muhammed Nemil in the penalty area. To make matters worse, Tarres saw a red card for the challenge.
Back-up keeper Shubham Dhas took Tarres’ place between the sticks but could not keep out Dezan Drazic’s penalty, preventing a shock defeat for the Gaurs in front of the home fans.
