Danish forward Anton Sojberg became the latest hero for East Bengal when he scored late to save a 3-3 draw against Bengaluru FC at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata in the Indian Super League 2025-26 on Thursday.
Anwar Ali and Saul Crespo were the other goalscorers for the Red and Gold Brigade as the ten-man squad fought valiantly to grab a point.
Ryan Williams, Ashique Kuruniyan and Suresh Singh Wangjam scored for the Blues.
The atmosphere of the match seemed to change in the first half when East Bengal’s Miguel Ferreira was shown a red card for misconduct. But Oscar Bruzon and Co. managed to achieve a result.
