Kerala Blasters will see a positive end to the 2025-2026 ISL season against FC Goa

Kerala Blasters will be looking for a strong finish in the 2025-26 Indian Super League season finale against FC Goa at the Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium in Kochi on Monday.

After a dismal start to the season, Kerala Blasters have turned things around under new coach Ashley Westwood and are unbeaten in their last five matches.

But with no further chance to improve its table position, Kerala Blasters will look to maintain its current eighth position. However, Kerala Blasters face a tough task against Goa with 14 points from 12 matches.

Kerala Blasters need to beat Goa to prevent ninth-placed NorthEast United, 13 points from 12 matches, from overtaking them in the final round. NorthEast has a relatively easy match against the relegated Mohammedan Sporting FC in the last round.

FC Goa dropped points at home against Mohun Bagan, which hampered their chances of finishing in the top three. Sixth-placed Goa will look to improve on its current position and will come down hard on the hosts.

Kerala Blasters, who have a poor overall record against FC Goa, will have to be at the top and that was also reiterated by coach Westwood during the pre-match briefing with the media. «They are a top side and have some very good Indian national players and experienced foreign players. We have to go out and give our best and try to win the match,» he said.

Kerala Blasters owed their latest victory to Kevin Yoke, a revelation on the right flank. However, against a strong Goan side, Kevin will need more support from his teammates for the hosts to end the season on a high note.
