Lionel Scaloni will take charge of his 100th match as Argentina coach on Friday when his side take on Cape Verde in the round of 32 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Miami.
The 48-year-old has had a fruitful time as head of The Albiceleste, guiding them to the FIFA World Cup crown in 2022.
In the 99 matches he has played so far, Argentina has won 76 matches, drawing 14 and losing nine, giving him a points-per-match ratio of 2.44.
Scaloni previously managed the Argentina Under-20 side and was also part of the coaching staff of La Liga side Sevilla before taking the top job in 2018.
He is second behind Guillermo Stabile in the all-time list of Argentine managers. Stabile coached the three-time World Cup winner in 115 matches between 1939 and 1958.
