Belgium recorded a thrilling 3-2 win in the Round of 32 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup at Seattle Stadium on Wednesday.
Youri Tielemans struck twice, including the match-winning penalty late in extra time, to take Belgium to the round of 16.
The Red Devils will face the winner of the USA vs. match in the next round. Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Senegal took a 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Habib Diarra and Ismaila Sarr, before Belgium hit back through substitutes Romelu Lukaku and Tielemans in the 86th and 89th minutes.
In the 117th minute of extra time, Belgium were awarded a penalty after a VAR intervention revealed Lamine Camara’s foul on Tielemans in the penalty area.
Tielemans stepped up to coolly score the penalty and give Belgium the win.
