Saudi Arabia’s starting line-up for the 2026 FIFA World Cup Group H match against Spain in Atlanta included two household names: Nasser Al-Dawsari and Salem Al-Dawsari.
The two players are brothers and have been playing for the Green Falcons for quite some time.
Nasser, the younger of the two siblings, aged 27, has made 47 appearances for the national team and is yet to score a goal and an international goal. Salem is 34 years old and has been playing for the national team since 2012, scoring 26 times in 111 appearances.
Salem was even named Asian Player of the Year in 2023.
In addition to playing for the Saudi Arabia men’s national team, the Al-Dawsari brothers also play for the same team in the Saudi Pro League: Al Hilal.
