Uphill, at least in my head – AT Thru Hike by Fox – Day 66

Today it seemed like everything was going uphill. It couldn’t have been that way, and in fact the map shows almost the same decline. The climbs were steep, while the descents were gradual.
Leaving Deer Lick, I headed down to the Old Forge campground, where they have a tap year-round. Spring water is nice, but right now not having to filter it anymore is better. In this heat I’m drinking a ton.
