Malik Tillman scored his first World Cup goal on Wednesday when he converted a free kick for the US against Bosnia and Herzegovina at the San Francisco Bay Arena.
Tillman doubled the host nation’s lead with a knuckleball from the deadball situation in the 82nd minute.
Tillman has an American father and a German mother. Born in Nuremberg, Germany, Tillman represented his native country at youth level before making his senior international move to the US in 2022.
