Brazil secured their place in the Round of 32 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup with a 3-0 win over Scotland at Miami Gardens, Florida, on Wednesday.
Brazil has advanced past the first round of the World Cup in the past 22 editions, with the only exception being the opening tournament in 1930.
Carlo Ancelotti’s men have qualified for the knockouts as table toppers in Group C.
As it stands, Brazil is scheduled for second place in Group F.
Japan currently sits second in its group and will face third-placed Sweden, while the Netherlands will face Tunisia.
