Ivory Coast begins its 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign against Ecuador at the Philadelphia Stadium in Philadelphia on Sunday.
Manchester United winger Amad Diallo has not been named in the starting line-up by coach Emerse Fae. The attacking line consists of Nicholas Pepe, Bazoumana Touré, Yan Diomande and Elye Wahi.
The 23-year-old has not been a consistent starter for the African team since early 2026. He has only played the full 90 minutes once this year, in a defeat to Egypt.
However, the forward will look to make an impact from the bench, as he did in the pre-World Cup friendly against France, where he scored the winning goal.
