Will Dallas weather affect Netherlands vs. Japan in 2026 FIFA World Cup?

The Netherlands has advanced to the World Cup final three times, most recently in 2010; they have lost every time and are once again among the top contenders going into their group match against Japan.

National coach Ronald Koeman acknowledged that his team will have to perform at the highest level against a motivated opponent.

Japan have retained Hajime Moriyasu as manager, unlike the Dutch, who switched coaches from Louis Van Gaal to Koeman, and the team has also suffered injuries to players such as captain Wataru Endo and Kaoru Mitoma.

However, an important question ahead of the match remains whether the weather will play a role in the Group F match.

Will weather and heat have an effect on the Netherlands versus Japan at the 2026 FIFA World Cup?
