Wolverhampton Wanderers -fans unveiled a new TIFO who focused on former striker Diogo Jota prior to the opening match against Manchester City in Molineux on Saturday.
A moment of silence was held before the start at Molineux, as planned for all competitions in the Premier League weekend. The Tifo was unveiled when this took place.
The Tifo portrayed Jota with a goal for wolves, along with the words ‘we will remember when you walk in Gold Fields of Gold’.

Jota committed his trade in Molineux for four years and scored 44 goals for three seasons before moving to Liverpool. He initially joined the side on loan when it was in the championship before he made the deal permanent.
Tifo’s unveiling was one of a number of tribute by the club to his former player. Jota’s national team manager Roberto Martinez and former national and club teammate Ruben Neves were prior to the competition in the crowd and Jota was also mentioned in the pre-Match program.
Wolves fans also held an applause in the eighteenth minute of the game in memory of the shirt number that Jota wore at the club.
