welcome to Sportstar’s live coverage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Group K match between Portugal and Democratic Republic of Congo, which will be played at the NRG Stadium – officially named the Houston Stadium for the World Cup – in Houston, USA.
Cristiano Ronaldo has already led Portugal to three international trophies. But the biggest of them all, the Football World Cup, has so far eluded him, in five attempts.
He will look to change that in his sixth attempt as Portugal opens their 2026 World Cup campaign against the Democratic Republic of Congo on Wednesday, June 17.
