AC Milan has sacked manager Massimiliano Allegri following a late-season collapse that saw ownership label an «unequivocal failure» after the club finished the season in fifth place and missed out on Champions League qualification, the Serie A club said on Monday.
The veteran coach was sacked along with top managers Giorgio Furlani, Igli Tare and Geoffrey Moncada as part of a major overhaul aimed at restructuring the club’s football operations for next season.
